Relations between Tina and Adam are frosty after he thumped her ex-lover, treading all over her feelings by acting like a caveman protecting his woman.

But a weekend work team-building exercise might give the pair a breathing space. Or maybe not, because the ex-lover’s ex-wife, Sarah, will be going along too. And we all know that she and Adam have bonded over being the oldest employees in a painfully hipster company.

We should really worry, though, about the seemingly ever-capable Karen (Hermione Norris), who finds life increasingly hard to cope with after the collapse of her business and the trauma with her oldest daughter. It looks like her grasp on sobriety is slipping, then she disappears…

Summary

Mike Bullen's comedy drama continues, and in this latest instalment Adam seizes the opportunity to spend the night away from Tina in the form of team-building trip - but finishes up getting more than he bargained for. Despite David's generous bail-out the pressure of family life sees the walls closing in on Karen. At work, she fails to gain the control she was hoping for - an eventuality that threatens to spark her professional demise. James Nesbitt, Leanne Best, Hermione Norris, Robert Bathurst and John Thomson star.
