Series 13 - Episode 3 Robots

Review

The best episode so far – a joyous mix of shambles and arguments as the two teams try to brand and sell robot toys.

In Team Graphene one of the candidates gets off to a fine start by addressing a team-mate in the back of the car as “You old airbag”, then moves on to wind up the rest of the team, one by one, as if on a mission. “It’s all gone off in the most horrific way,” says a shocked Karren Brady as the nails-on-a-blackboard infighting spirals out of control.

On Team Vitality, meanwhile, the project manager (and all right-thinking people’s favourite candidate by far) is charming, funny, shrewd – and has an absolute shocker.

Summary

This week, Lord Sugar summons the contestants to London's new Design Museum, where the teams find out that they are to create, program and sell a prototype robot. The boys team create a product targeting the over 60s market, but their patronising approach does not impress the retailers. Meanwhile, the girls opt for the children's market, but an appalling pitch sees their team in melt down.
