Moone Boy star Deirdre O’Kane joins the cast of Irish comedy Bridget & Eamon as it returns for a third series. The opening episode sees Bridget’s mother (O’Kane) descending upon the homestead to reveal that she has a new Turkish lover (played by lead actress Jennifer Zamparelli’s real-life husband) and plans to leave everything she owns to him in her will. A distraught Bridget hatches a plan for Eamon (Bernard O’Shea) to seduce her mother, but needless to say, it doesn’t quite go to plan. The madness continues in the second episode of the double bill, when the pair establish a pirate radio station in their own front room.
