Review

The dating world is brutal enough, but in this new reality show the savagery is taken up a notch. A singleton creates their ideal partner using “avatar technology”, just as if they’re building a character in a computer game. They then live in a house with eight people who look just like their fantasy date (yes it’s eerie), booting one out each night until the one who’s got the looks and personality is left standing.

First up is Charlotte who wants a mixed-race man with a quirky dress sense, toned body and a pert posterior. “A lot of good-looking guys don’t have personality,” she soon discovers. Very silly, slightly creepy but lots of fun.

Summary

Singletons design their perfect partner using the latest avatar-building technology, then live for a week with eight people who are a match before choosing one to date. In the first edition 23-year-old Charlotte designs the man of her dreams virtually and then moves in with eight guys who look the part, with one unlucky contender becoming the first to be eliminated.
