Review

"Where did it all go wrong?" Nick Hewer mutters to himself. "Series four of The Apprentice, I think," Noel Fielding tells him, quick as a flash. Nick's not the only one struggling in the tent this week. A giggling Stacey Solomon can't work out how to turn the oven up and Ricky (Kaiser Chiefs) Wilson's cake seems to have a life of its own, oozing off the work station when he's not looking. At least judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood are briefly distracted from what's going on by dance group Diversity's Perri Kiely when he demonstrates his trademark backflips for them.

While it would be hard to beat Harry Hill for his surreal humour in last week's edition, there's still a lot of laughter in the tent... mainly because of the culinary disasters. "That looks more like a cowpat!" says Prue brutally, while nobody can keep a straight face when confronted by one celebrity's attempt at a croquembouche. "Shall I take it away?" they ask. "Yes please," the presenters chorus.

Summary

Countdown's Nick Hewer joins singer and TV personality Stacey Solomon, the Kaiser Chiefs' Ricky Wilson and Diversity dancer Perri Kiely for the latest culinary challenge. Presenters Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding guide them through the assorted tasks, and Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith pass judgment on their baking skills. On the menu are scones, a devilish technical, and a showstopper challenge in the form of self-portrait croquembouches, but which of the famous faces will impress those judges?
