Summary
Oil and gas purchasing specialist Sylvian hosts the third dinner party in Aberdeen, hoping her attention to detail and an ambitious global themed menu will be enough to impress her guests. Philippines-born Sylvian's dishes are an East-meets-West affair, starting with Japanese gyoza, followed by a Sumatran rendang and ending with a very British sticky toffee pudding. But dessert turns out to be sticky in more ways than one; cue tears before bedtime from the host.
