Jools' Annual Hootenanny

Holland’s annual Hootenanny is headlined by the man who dominated the charts in 2017, Ed Sheeran. Jessie Ware and Beth Ditto are the other contemporary artists in a line-up dominated by soul and RnB giants: Mavis Staples is in the house, as are George McCrae, Soul II Soul and Hootenanny regular Ruby Turner. Plus Jose Feliciano and, of course, the Pipes and Drums of the 1st Battalion Scots Guards.

Jools Holland presents his 25th annual New Year party, headlined this year by Ed Sheeran, who performs tracks from his recent album Divide with the Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, as well as a cover of a classic British rock song. Other acts taking to the stage tonight include Mavis Staples, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Jessie Ware, Soul II Soul, Beth Ditto, the Beat starring Dave Wakelin, George McCrae, Jose Feliciano and Ruby Turner, while the Pipes & Drums of the 1st Battalion Scots Guards will be on hand at midnight to play in the new year.
