Strictly fans know that judge Len Goodman doesn’t like too much “faffin’ abaht” in dances. He feels the same about food. While most people’s palates have broadened, Len’s taste buds have stayed put. Prawn cocktail is as exotic as it gets. His mantra is “Never eat anything you can’t spell”.

Ainsley Harriott started Len’s culinary baptism yesterday with a taste of black pudding. It didn’t go down well. In fact Len is constantly frowning at his plate. Of course he’s polite, but even when he tries food he doesn’t mind he still looks slightly disconcerted. Will today’s Jamaican dishes and Spanish gazpacho fare any better?

Summary

Chef Ainsley Harriott and Strictly Come Dancing judge Len Goodman arrive in Bristol, where Len has his first taste of Jamaican food and samples some Spanish cold soup. Meanwhile, Ainsley heads to the kitchen and cooks a dish inspired by his heritage.
