We need know no more than that it’s the great man discussing his life and views in an 89th birthday special that promises to be as wide-ranging as it is wise. Next year, he’ll present a series on the place he considers the most magical he has ever visited, the Great Barrier Reef, and here he reflects on his recent experiences diving there.

Summary

Another chance to see Barack Obama's conversation, recorded in May 2015, with renowned naturalist and film-maker David Attenborough. In a twist on usual convention, the then-US President took the role of interviewer, quizzing Attenborough about his thoughts on the future of the planet, their shared passion for nature, and potential ways to protect the environment. Also includes behind-the-scenes footage from Sir David's latest project on the Great Barrier Reef, as well as highlights from throughout the veteran broadcaster's career.
