The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst

Film-makers Andrew Jarecki and Marc Smerling talk to property tycoon Robert Durst, who recalls the events of 2000, the year the investigation into the disappearance of his wife Kathie was reopened. It was also the year Susan Berman, the daughter of famous Las Vegas mobster David Berman, was murdered. Susan had become Durst's spokesperson following Kathie's disappearance two decades earlier, but had been overlooked by investigators back in 1982. However, before the police were able to speak to her after the case was reopened, Susan was found shot in the back of the head. With no sign of a struggle at the crime scene, investigators surmised her killer was likely someone who knew her well, but they were unable to make a clear connection that linked Robert Durst to her death.
