Review

When Scientific American applauds Leonard and Sheldon’s paper, without ever mentioning Leonard, Sheldon has trouble understanding why his co-writer might be upset. And Howard throws an impromptu dinner party when a power cut starts to defrost a fridge full of his late mother’s food.

It’s a ho hum-ish episode by Big Bang standards, full of bickering, and Sheldon being deliberately unkind – usually it’s just accidental. But the continuity from previous episodes is laudable, and a sudden realisation from Howard (Simon Helberg) will get to anyone who’s ever been bereaved. The cast aren’t just funny; they’re all excellent actors.
