Summary
A documentary on the death of Rhys Jones, an 11-year-old who was shot and killed while walking home from football practice in Croxteth, Liverpool, in August 2007. The assailant was 18-year-old Sean Mercer, who was firing at rival gang members and hit the child in the process. An investigation to bring Mercer and his gang to justice created tension in the area and caused untold pain to the family, but the perpetrator was eventually sentenced to 22 years behind bars and six other gang members were also jailed.
