Canal boat stewardess Denise Hendon hosts the first dinner party in Birmingham. Despite admitting her cookery skills could be better, she hopes her night of Moroccan-themed revelry will be a success, but the guests are underwhelmed by her menu. While party girl Angela McFarlane dreads eating the couscous, suave Frenchman Jean-Benoit Burloux longs for a glass of fine wine to wash the meal down.
