Episode 39: GPs: Behind Closed Doors

Summary

Third-year medical students Tanguy and Kathryn gain a valuable hands-on experience of working in a GPs' surgery. Dr Joanna Brigg and Kathryn investigate a patient's dangerously high blood pressure, but it is unclear whether she is nervous or there is a more serious underlying condition. Meanwhile, Tanguy leads his first consultation under the watch of Dr Eleanor Beecraft, and later, practice nurse Sara Moloney teaches Kathryn the finer points of administering injections.
