Review

Rating: 4 out of 5.

The Brooklyn-based comedy about four narcissistic 20-somethings returns. Written, directed and starring the precociously talented Lena Dunham, Girls seems to have forgotten it’s supposed to be funny but is no less compelling (or excruciating) for it. At the start of series three Dunham’s alter ego is back with her oddball ex and in control of her OCD. Richard E Grant cameos as a drug addict with wise words for Jessa.
