Review

Rating: 4 out of 5.

We’re used to Sheldon being likened to a big baby – it’s the childish food, his excitement at toys, the strops if he doesn’t get his way. But the comparison is made more overt in the case of a laid-up Mrs Wolowitz. She’s still invisible, of course, but she moans for America from the wings. But this development, and a crunch point for Raj and Emily, are mere Bang-atelles. Because if you’ve made it this far without discovering The Big Thing, you deserve some sort of award...

Penny has invited Leonard to the filming of Monkey See, Monkey Kill – less of a B-movie, more of a Z – but ends up being given her marching orders, along with co-star Wil Wheaton. Decision time beckons... and the most heartfelt studio-audience “ahhh” of the season.
