Review

Rating: 4 out of 5.

The fearsome Mrs Wolowitz invites the gang to a Thanksgiving dinner, but it’s no spoiler to say she doesn’t appear (she rivals Maris Crane and Mrs Mainwaring for invisibility). Fortunately, Raj is on cooking duty, so the others can relax… in theory. In Theory, Howard is intimidated by his father-in-law, Mike, to the point of tears, and Leonard is horrified to learn that his girlfriend, Penny, is married to her idiot-ex Zack.

It’s already a great episode, but then Big Bang wheels out its super-weapon. As inhabited by Jim Parsons, Sheldon is a sitcom LOL-bomb. A sad confession leads to some surprise bonding with Mike; a few beers later and Sheldon is revealing brand-new ways to be improper. Bazinga!
