Review

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Can you be guilty of murder if you were just following doctor’s orders? An 83-year-old woman is found dead on the floor of her flat. She’d not been physically attacked although there were signs of a break-in but she had a list of ailments – renal failure, heart disease, hypertension – any one of which could have finished her off.

However, on the basis that “where there’s a will, there’s a relative”, Jake is convinced that the woman’s granddaughter Connie (Natasha O’Keeffe) deliberately hastened her death. The trouble is that with no weapon, they’ve got no proof that she did anything. Potentially it’s the perfect crime so it’s a terrific premise for a legal drama and will definitely keep viewers guessing the outcome.
