Review

In this two-part story, first shown in 2010, Ziva’s father – Mossad director Eli David (Michael Nouri) – makes a surprise visit to the US to attend the NCIS conference. Ziva (Cote de Pablo) obviously resents him (he did abandon her in the desert, which is poor parenting by anyone’s standards) but the team have been tasked with his protection, so she must put personal feelings aside.

For a mid-season episode, this has more of a finale feel, with a heart-stopping gunfire scene and a cliff-hanger ending.
