The Croatian city of Dubrovnik will already be very familiar to Game of Thrones fans.


From seasons two to five, its walled old town doubled as King’s Landing in the hit HBO show. In the labyrinthine streets, you can find Blackwater Bay and the brothel where Tyrion Lannister met Oberyn Martell in series four (in real life it’s the Ethnographic Museum).
