Will there be any PSVR2 deals this Black Friday in the UK?

The PSVR2 came out in February 2023 and impressed us with its 4K HDR visuals, 110 degree field of view and PlayStation VR2 Sense technology, which features eye tracking, headset feedback and 3D Audio.

It also marked a huge shift in the world of VR as more and more gaming companies began creating games that were suitable for the PSVR2 and its rival the Meta Quest 3.

As our Gaming Editor Rob Leane said: "We’re definitely starting to see more companies bother to invest in VR games, it felt a few years ago that VR was lacking those household names, but now it’s starting to get a bigger library of things that are more appealing to a casual gamer."

Both the PSVR2 and the Meta Quest are still the biggest VR headsets around, so what can we expect this Black Friday?

Last year the device had its biggest ever sale, getting reduced by more than 40%, this year, we're still waiting to see what deals come but you can be sure we'll be pulling out all the best offers we've seen so far.

How much will the PSVR2 cost during Black Friday 2025?

The PSVR2 has already undergone a major discount in the last 12 months, having been permanently reduced from £529.99 to £399.99. This means the odds of a massive Black Friday deal are slim.

However, last year the headset was decreased all the way to £329.99, so we really wouldn't be surprised if we saw another deal like that.

What's the deal: The cheapest price we've found so far for the PSVR2 is £379 at Amazon, that's a £20 saving from its original RRP of £399. You can also get it for £10 off at Currys.

Why we chose it: This isn't a huge drop from its RRP, but considering the device has already had a £130 reduction, this might be the best deal we've seen.

What's the deal: PlayStation has bundled up the PSVR2 with the game Horizon Call of the Mountain for £399, that means you can get started as soon as you open your headset.
