Your guide to what's new on Netflix, blinkbox, LOVEFiLM, iTunes, Sky and Virgin Media

Forget remote controls and ad breaks, when it comes to new films and TV, sometimes the best place to go is the internet. And with brand new original content and VOD exclusives, this is a great week to dip your toe in the water of On Demand.

The first episode of Jack Whitehall’s Bad Education becomes available on BBC iPlayer on Tuesday, one week before it airs on BBC3. Netflix and blinkbox are giving Breaking Bad fans their weekly dose of drama and brand new release Bachelorette has just dropped onto VOD at the same time as being released in cinemas. Score! Plus you can swot up on Alan Patridge, watch Iron Man 3 and catch up on Mad Men series 6.

It’s the big one. Dedicated fans are probably already all over this, but just in case you’re waiting patiently for the end of Breaking Bad to be released on DVD we thought we’d remind you: you can actually watch each episode just hours after it airs in the UK in Netflix and on Blinkbox.

So there’s no need to be in the dark about what Walter White’s getting up to…

Breaking Bad is available on Netflix, iTunes and blinkbox, as are series 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Bad Education

Jack Whitehall is back as hapless teacher Alfie Whickers in the second series of Bad Education. And because those chaps at BBC3 are so excited they are letting fans have the epsiode on BBC iPlayer one week before the series starts airing on BBC3. Woop!

Whitehall fans, keep your eyes peeled for some pretty extensive, and not very pleasant, nudity…

Bad Education episode one is available on BBC iPlayer on Tuesday 27 August.
