Femme Fatale: The Story of Nico


After rising to fame in her native Germany, actor and model Christa Paffgen ventured to New York. Here, under the pseudonym of Nico, she caught the eye of Andy Warhol, and became the first lead singer of the newly formed Velvet Underground. This documentary examines her life and subsequent music career, with contributions from her son Ari, fellow `Velvet' John Cale, manager Alan Wise and biographer Richard Witts.
