Summary
"The One…" is a comedy series that started life as "The One Ronnie", a one-off tribute in 2010 to mark Ronnie Corbett's 80th birthday. Ronnie performs in sketches alongside contemporary comedy performers, including David Walliams, Matt Lucas, Miranda Hart, Rob Brydon and Catherine Tate; and delivers one of his signature armchair monologues. The BBC resurrected the idea to allow veteran comedians the chance to relive their TV heyday for one programme only. The new three-part series premiered on BBC One in January 2012 with Lenny Henry reprising some characters that first appeared 20 years earlier in his sitcom "The Lenny Henry Show".
