Episode 4: Beware the Ides of March

Summary

Frank and Lu investigate following series of deadly `accidents" on a psychic TV programme hosted by two warring sisters. Crime drama, starring Mark Benton and Jo Joyner

Review

Imagine What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? crossed with the Margery and Joan daytime telly skits from Victoria Wood: as Seen on TV and you have some idea as to the ever-so camp atmosphere here. Television psychic Julienne (Janet Dibley) may have a successful show with her sister Marcia (Siân Reeves), but is convinced that her sibling has murder in mind. Her reason? A falling studio light that almost kills Julienne while she’s live on air.

As you’d expect, Frank is sceptical of the medium’s so-called abilities, while Lu initially appears more suggestible. Let’s hope they can put their differences to one side before their clairvoyant client ends up permanently on the spiritual plane…
