Summary
"Countryfile" is BBC One's long-running rural affairs magazine. For the show's first 20 years it was presented by John Craven, but in 2009 he took on a more secondary role to make way for new presenters Julia Bradbury, Matt Baker, Ellie Harrison and Adam Henson. At the same time, the programme moved from its 12 noon slot on a Sunday lunchtime to a prime-time slot on Sunday evenings. In each episode, the presenters report from a different rural location, reporting on local traditions and environmental issues.
