Summary
With Reform UK consistently leading in the polls, Laura Kuenssberg examines the party's ambitions, organisation and efforts to professionalise. From its origins on the political fringes to representation on local councils and in Westminster, she asks whether Reform UK is ready to be a party of government. Featuring interviews with leading members of the party, the film explores how voter dissatisfaction is reshaping Britain's political landscape

It’s long been said that when a newspaper headline ends with a question mark, the answer to the question is invariably, “No” . The same might go for this programme. As presenter Laura Kuenssberg will discuss, there’s a yawning gap between leading in the polls and being a party of government with the talent and resources to drive the Whitehall machine. Reform currently has seven MPs. At a local level, Reform councils have found it much harder to enact their plans than it was to campaign from the sidelines. Kuenssberg talks to Reform members and gauges if and when the answer to that key question might change.
