The show has been running for more than 20 years now and it's still going strong. "Cops" became famous for its ‘Bad Boys' theme tune performed by reggae group Inner Circle, and the long-running programme has often been featured on various films and television shows. During the show's run its cameras have followed officers in 140 cities in America, as well as police in other countries such as Hong Kong and England.
