As the Gallagher brothers might say, they’re mad for it. Whether it’s selling out tours in record time, teasing fans with hints at a new album or feuding with next-gen bands like Fontaines DC, it’s hard to keep Oasis out of the headlines. This double bill whisks us back to their bucket-hatted heyday.

We kick off with the film of their triumphant 2005 homecoming gig at their beloved football club’s stadium. As well as tracks from their sixth studio album, Don’t Believe the Truth, they reel off swaggering anthems such as Wonderwall, Live Forever and Don’t Look Back In Anger. The reunited group are scheduled to return there next summer for an 11-show residency, so consider this an appetiser.

It’s followed by the 1997 rockumentary, following the fresh-faced lads at the height of Britpop mania. In their inimitable style, the band discuss their career to date, revisit their old Mancunian neighbourhood and perform live tracks.
