Summary
"Homes Under the Hammer" finds presenters Lucy Alexander and Martin Roberts giving their opinions on properties put up for auction. The auctions are then filmed and the eventual buyers are interviewed to find out what they plan to change about their new abodes. They are then left to get on with any renovation work and the show revisits them after three months to see how they have got on. Estate agents are then invited to revaluate the properties to see if the renovations have made them more desirable. It premiered in a daytime slot on BBC1 in 2003. For series three, Marc Woodward and Jasmine Birtles alternated presenting duties with Alexander and Roberts.
