Episode 33: Casualty

Summary

Ethan is in danger of crossing a line with Leigh-Anne, while Robyn throws away a present from Glen after he questions whether she is fit to be in work. Bea wakes up in an alley calling for help, which comes in the form of nightclub bouncer Johnny, who initially refuses treatment for his own nasty cut.

Review

Human resources bosses across the land must nurse their heads in their hands every time clinical lead Ethan demonstrates his “interpersonal skills” with emergency department staff members. He torpedoed the keen (but admittedly over-confident) Bea Kinsella in front of her colleagues after she messed up badly, thus sending her into a spiral of drinking and puking. She ended up hammered and injured in a back alley.

Tonight, Ethan lavishes his trademark care on newly bereaved widow Robyn, telling her off for returning to work and insisting she must be at the top of her game. Nice one, idiot. This can’t go on – and it doesn’t.
