Review
It’s been a sad time for the Gogglebox community following the recent deaths of Pete McGarry, Mary Cook and Andy Michael. All terrific characters, they’ll be greatly missed.
But the show is bigger than the individual and so returns with many regulars and familiar elements. There’ll be wacky mugs (Pete and his little sister Sophie), maybe a new hair colour (hairdresser Ellie and Izzi), takeaways and dubious snacks as well as pithy comments because – to paraphrase narrator Craig Cash – there’s been lots of great telly to watch. I’d be surprised if Vigil doesn’t feature, so Jenny might need her Line of Duty notebook again.
