Summary
"The Bear Family and Me" follows wildlife cameraman Gordon Buchanan as he spends a year with a family of wild black bears. The first edition sees Gordon arriving in the forests of Minnesota in spring just as the bears emerge from their dens. Before he can start filming, he needs to earn the bears' trust and overcome his own fear of the creatures. The three-part series originally aired on BBC Two in January 2011.
