Cassie and Megan have familial reunions that leave a sour aftertaste and Cassie’s double plants a bloody knife in her apartment. Jarringly, the episode is peppered with scenes in Cassie’s mind palace — which felt fitting in series one, but deflects from the action in series two. Internal monologues feel unnecessary when Kaley Cuoco’s performance is as visceral and all-encompassing as it is.
