Summary

Documentary meeting three households with Great Danes. Essex woman Claire, whose canine companion is so huge, potential boyfriends do a runner once they see him, a US family who had to supersize their lives to accommodate Rocko, and Welshwoman Julie, who paid a high price for her 20-year canine obsession when her marriage ended. The film also reveals the pros and cons of owning giant dogs, including the crippling costs of more than £12,000 a year, constant care for a pet that cannot be left for longer than four hours at a time and extreme domestic destruction.
