Summary
Review
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Alex Polizzi taking failing hoteliers to task but she’s back… with a vengeance. Hasmeeta and her husband Bharat, who own a shabby Thai-styled guesthouse, restaurant and spa just outside Loughborough, can only stand silently as she rips into them about their poor hygiene, shambolic management and “the blizzard of signs” that attack guests when they arrive. “Disgusting” is the word she uses most often.
They’re a delightful, hard-working couple but at one point Alex is forced to answer the phone in reception because Bharat’s out delivering a takeaway and Hasmeeta’s in the kitchen. “I’m cross,” Alex says to camera. No kidding.

Alex Polizzi heads to the LG Thai Derm Spa and Guest House in Loughborough, where she tries to help out first-time hoteliers, husband and wife Hasmeeta and Bharat.
