Summary
"CSI: Miami" is a fast-paced American drama following a South Florida team of forensic investigators led by Lt Horatio Caine (David Caruso). The flame-haired sleuth solves mysteries in the sun-soaked state with the help of ballistics specialist Det Calleigh Duquesne (Emily Procter), underwater recovery expert Det Eric Delko (Adam Rodriguez), no-nonsense know-it-all coroner Dr Alexx Woods (Khandi Alexander), DNA expert Natalia Boa Vista (Eva LaRue), police officer Det Frank Tripp (Rex Linn) and Det Ryan Wolfe (Jonathan Togo), a former patrol officer who specialises in blood and trace evidence. The team uses both cutting-edge scientific techniques and old-fashioned police methods to solve crimes. The "CSI" spin-off premiered in the US in 2002 and on Channel 5 a year later.
