Review

“It’s a Christmas miracle!” gasps Bruno Tonioli after Judy Murray performs a surprisingly not-totally-stiff rendition of a charleston in this festive special. It’s a show stuffed with surprises: Jeremy Vine, sporting a glorious yellow outfit, flies in – literally; Craig Revel Horwood is less of a Grinch with his scoring than usual; and the judges come out from behind their desk to do something very unexpected – and very entertaining. Plus the professionals lead us a right royal dance when they perform at Buckingham Palace.
