Summary
"Lizzie McGuire" is an American teen sitcom starring Hilary Duff as the aforementioned Lizzie. She was best friends with Miranda Sanchez (Lalaine Ann Vergara-Paras) and David "Gordo" Gordon (Adam Lamberg), and constantly getting into arguments with her younger brother Matt (Jake Thomas). Jo (Hallie Todd) is Lizzie and Matt's mother and Sam (Robert Carradine) was their father. Although Lizzie was a squeaky clean teen, her animated alter ego addressed the audience with her true feelings. A total of 65 episodes were made between 2001 and 2004 and it was one of The Disney Channel's most popular series. A film based on the series was released in 2003.
