Summary

Supernatural comedy drama exploring what happens when three twenty-something outsiders start living together. Mitchell (Aidan Turner) is a hospital cleaner and a blood-sucking vampire. He shares a house in Bristol with George (Russell Tovey), a werewolf who works as a porter in the same hospital. They are joined by Annie (Lenora Crichlow), the house's resident ghost (she died after falling down the stairs in the property owned by her former fiance). George has to manage his monthly transformations into a werewolf and Mitchell struggles with his desire to drink blood. The household expands in the second series when George's girlfriend, Nina (Sinead Keenan), moves in. In the third series, everyone decamps to a former bed-and-breakfast in Barry Island. Damien Molony joined the cast as Hal in series four. "Being Human" premiered on BBC Three in 2009 and ran for five series.
