Summary
"Yukon Men" documents the harsh realities of life for 200 Alaskan villagers living in Tanana, which lies at the junction of two powerful rivers, with no roads in or out. The sound of wolves howling at night is an everyday occurrence. The villagers struggle to find food and heat, and must battle life-threatening predators just to survive. In the opening edition, the residents are threatened by a wolf. The nine-part series premiered on the Discovery channel in February 2013.
