Review
Forget the sun-soaked streets, slick art galleries and high-class fashion shows. The Milan of this atmosphere-heavy Italian crime drama is all grimy back alleys, crumbling apartment blocks and disused factories, lit by a flickering wash of neon.
Episode one nicely (well, nastily really) set up the bloody conflict between the city’s native street gangs and their new Spanish rivals. It even had time to nudge into place a Romeo-and-Juliet style romance between latina Bea on one side and bumbling drug mule Ludo on the other. However, that particular star-crossed tale might be about to implode in episode two, as Ludo hunts the streets for his stolen scooter full of drugs, convinced that Bea had a hand in its disappearance…
