Summary
"Brotherhood" is an American drama about the lives of two Irish-American brothers working on opposite sides of the law in Providence, Rhode Island. Tommy Caffee (Jason Clarke) is a rising star in the world of local politics; his brother Michael (Jason Isaacs) is a violent gangster who returned to Providence after seven years away to reclaim control of gambling and protection rackets. The supporting cast includes Fionnula Flanagan as their mother Rose, Ethan Embry as Det Declan Giggs, Kevin Chapman as mob boss Freddie Cork, Annabeth Gish as Tommy's wife Eileen, and Stivi Paskoski as Michael's criminal partner Pete McGonagle. In the first episode, Michael, long thought dead, returns home to stake his claim in the Providence underworld, a move that threatens to undermine his brother Tommy's credibility in the state parliament. It premiered on FX in 2006 and ran for three seasons.
