Summary
"Ceramics - A Fragile History" traces the development of British pottery from the Tudor period to the present day. The first episode explores the domestic uses of ceramics, and analyses what objects from different eras reveal about the people who made and owned them. The three-part series features contributions by Edmund de Waal, Grayson Perry, David Attenborough, Lucy Worsley, Mary Wondrausch and Elspeth Owen. It premiered on BBC Four and the BBC HD channel in October 2011.
