Summary
In the opening edition, Jeremy Clarkson celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Jaguar E-type by driving a modern-day interpretation of the classic sports car. During the course of the series, Richard Hammond champions the Fiat 500C Abarth, James May tests the toughness of the Range Rover Evoque in Nevada, and the Stig puts a number of cars through their paces on the "Top Gear" test track, including the BMW 1 Series M Coupe. Stars behind the wheel of the "Reasonably Priced Car" included Alice Cooper and Ross Noble. The first of six new episodes premiered on BBC Two in June 2011.
