Many thanks for using our Watchlist service.
The Watchlist was launched close to a decade ago as a tool intended to help our readers plan and track their TV viewing. A lot has changed in both technology and web user habits since then, and here at Radio Times we’re reviewing and rebuilding our site to keep up with those habits and trends.
As a part of that review, we’ve made the hard decision to put this service to rest. Effective from August 1st 2017, the Radio Times Watchlist service will be removed from the website (it will remain within the Discover TV app).
In the meantime, our digital and publishing teams are committed to going back to the drawing board with the key goal of helping our users plan and track their TV viewing and ensuring that Radio Times remains a part of their daily lives.
The Radio Times Discover TV app will retain the Watchlist functionality where you can favourite the shows you most enjoy and have them highlight in the grid. This is because the app uses different services from the website. We encourage you to learn more about the app if you’d like to continue to use this functionality — when logging in to the app your tracked programmes should appear on the TV listings.
We’re sorry for any inconvenience that this change causes. In order to provide the best possible experience for our users, our digital team are keen to receive your feedback about the Watchlist service and how it could be improved. Please feel free to contact them by email (firstname.lastname@example.org).
