48 chefs have battled it out and now only four cooks remain in MasterChef: The Professionals 2017.
Michelin-starred chef Marcus Wareing and Monica Galetti can only pick one champion – but who will it be?
Here’s everything you need to know about the final four MasterChef: the Professionals contestants: Craig Johnston, Louisa Ellis, Steven Lickley and Jamie Park.
MasterChef: The Professionals finals week continues this Wednesday 20th December at 8pm on BBC2.
Profession: Sous Chef at Royal Oak Paley Street
Craig became interested in cooking during Food Technology classes at secondary school. Afterwards, he took on training at several restaurants, before gaining NVQs in professional cooking. Craig is also a keen baker, having cooked flapjacks with his mum at weekends.
What Craig says
“The most challenging moment of the competition for me has been the final 12 Invention Test in Knockout Week. It was such a stressful and long day, and having to cook twice that day made it even worse! Getting to the finals is so surreal, I’ve put so much time into focusing on the competition, for it to pay off is totally amazing.”
