There’s a new waitress joining the ranks in First Dates.
Charlotte from Wolverhampton will make her first appearance at Paternoster Chop House in the third episode of series nine, working under regular Maitre d’ Fred Serieix. A gal of simple pleasures, when asked by her colleague what it would take to woo her, she says “cheese, chips, gravy”. Not sure if that’s on the menu, but no matter.
“Our vision is very simple, to create a haven for love to blossom,” Sirieix tells his team in the clip, which gives us our first glimpse of the new recruit. Check it out above.
If past seasons are anything to go by, Charlotte is in for a fair share of awkward moments and questionable dinner-table etiquette. She may even get to see Tory MP Michael Fabricant flex his dating chops as he partakes in a celebrity edition of the show later on in the series.
His appearance, which will form part of Channel 4’s Stand Up To programming, was announced by Theresa May during PMQs in September.
The new series of First Dates continues on Mondays on Channel 4 at 10pm
