WWE Network launches in the UK

The streaming service shows pay-per-view bouts over the internet

Finally! WWE. Has come back. To British people’s computers!

From 8pm tonight, UK fans will have access to the WWE Network. For $10 a month (about £6.26) Wrestlemaniacs can stream all the HD suplexes, chokeslams and piledrivers their internet connection can handle.

The service is a step away from the traditional cable model that made WWE (previously WWF) a rasslin’ superpower. Subscribers get access to the company’s pay-per-view events, as well as classic rumbles from WWE, WCW and ECW.

The UK is late to the fight, with 170 countries already signed up. The British launch was originally scheduled for October, but was reportedly delayed due to contract negotiations with UK broadcasters.

WWE Network is available on the web, iOS and Android devices, plus a variety of other devices.

Can’t afford $10 right now? IT DOESN’T MATTER. WWE Network is free until the end of November. Head to WWE.com at 8:00pm GMT to sign up.
