Hollyoaks villain Warren Fox will be back on the Channel 4 soap this spring – and you can get a first glimpse of actor Jamie Lomas making his return right here.
Known for being one of the show’s most notorious bad guys, Warren Fox left the show in 2011 in a dramatic twist of fate after he was double-crossed by lover Mitzeee Minniver. He was arrested for one of the show’s most memorable murders, that of Louise Summers, his wife who he killed on their wedding day in 2008.
A Hollyoaks spokesperson said: “Hollyoaks can confirm Warren Fox will be making a full-time return to Hollyoaks village. We are not revealing whose shower he is going to turn up in and whether he is cleaning up his act or washing away his sins. ”
Executive producer Bryan Kirkwood commented: “Jamie Lomas’s wickedly irresistible creation Warren Fox is one of Hollyoaks’ all-time greatest villains and leading men. I couldn’t be happier to see Warren come home to Chester to create more havoc, settle some old scores and find new love with at least one of our leading ladies. Jamie is a much-loved member of the Hollyoaks family and we’re delighted to have him back on set.
Jamie Lomas added: “I am absolutely delighted to be returning to Hollyoaks, Warren Fox is a character I relish playing, and working with my good friend Bryan Kirkwood again will be a pleasure.
“Warren has been away for a number of years, so it’s like starting with a blank canvas. Hollyoaks fans both old and new, will get to see Warren back to his old tricks very soon.”
The other big storyline sees former X Factor star Rachel Adedeji joining the cast to play the real Lisa Loveday – the lost daughter of Simone and Louis Loveday who, until now, have believed that they were reunited with their daughter last year but have been living with an imposter. She will appear on screen for the first time in April.
The singer and actress said today: “I am so excited to have joined Hollyoaks and be part of the Loveday family, who are brilliant actors and already feel like an extension of my own family! It is quite a pressure to be coming in as the real Lisa Loveday as she is such an anticipated arrival in Hollyoaks village.
“I think it’s fair to say that the audience have hoped that we would at some point get to meet the real Lisa and although I can’t say too much, the fallout is big and far-reaching. What has happened to Lisa so far in her life has turned her into a tough cookie and it has been great to bring that to life on screen.”
